Even though the final episode of the animated television series Codename: Kids Next Door, aired on January 21, 2008 on Cartoon Network during its six years of running over the channel, the show had been quite popular among young kids and is still quite well known.
Tom Warburton is the creator this Curious Pictures produced animated television series, which is based upon a group of five kids who act as the series’ main characters, while are part of the Kids Next Door organization which comprises of other children as well. Operating from a treehouse equipped with high-tech technology, these children along with the others from the ‘KND’ serve to any adults, seniors or even teenagers who try to spread tyranny, especially on little children.
Although initially the plot of the series was supposed to be rather general and comical, while the series did retain the comical factor, the aspect of action with these kids fighting against a long lineup of adults was actually added later. The protagonists of the series, i.e. the five children are actually given numbers alike all the other members of Kids Next Door. The main cast includes Numbuh One who real name is Nigel Uno, the bald headed leader out of the five who likes to wear shades, Numbuh Two/Hogarth "Hoagie/Hank" Pennywhistle Gilligan Jr., the true brain of the group with a British accent, Numbuh Three/Kuki Sanban, the girly girl who is a real air head, Numbuh Four/Wallabee "Wally" Beetles, the blonde Australian kid who thinks he’s really ‘cool’ and Numbuh Five/Abigail Lincoln, the sensible one out of them all.
